I grew up eating my way around Spring, so I read the openings list the way a baseball coach reads a roster: who just arrived, who is leaving, and who has made it through a full season. Everything below comes from Community Impact's Spring-Klein dining coverage, dated in each sentence. I have not tasted all of these, and I am not ranking any of them.
Which new restaurants in Spring TX opened in the past six weeks?
Four places show up in Community Impact's Spring-Klein dining feed between September 16 and October 11, 2026. Each one is a different kind of stop, which is part of why the list reads like a lineup and not a duplicate.
Cold Start Coffee
Community Impact reported on October 11, 2026 that this motorcycle-themed coffee shop held its grand opening that day at 18113 TC Jester Blvd., Ste. A. The shop serves coffee, small bites and pastries, and pets are welcome. The owners told Community Impact they plan to add wine and beer once a license comes through, with no date given.
Lima Grill
Community Impact reported on September 28, 2026 that Lima Grill opened September 10 at 20326 Tomball Parkway, Ste. 100, in the Spring area. The menu includes ceviches, rotisserie chicken and a slow-braised lamb shank. The restaurant's website, as cited in that article, lists Tuesday through Thursday hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Donut Block & Cafe
Community Impact reported on September 22, 2026 that the shop soft-opened in mid-September at 3403 Louetta Road. Per the business's Facebook page, it serves donuts, coffee, croissant sandwiches and kolaches, seven days a week from 4:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The full menu was not yet available at the soft opening.
Casa Nueva Mexican Grill and Bar
Community Impact reported on September 18, 2026 that Casa Nueva soft-opened September 16 at 8921 Louetta Road. The menu covers nacho plates, fajitas, enchiladas and seafood dishes, with a full bar. The article said grand opening plans had not been released at press time.
What does the Louetta Road stretch look like right now?
Three of the addresses in this post sit on Louetta Road: Donut Block & Cafe at 3403, Slice of Venice at 5275 and Casa Nueva at 8921, according to the Community Impact articles dated September 22, October 12 and September 18, 2026. That is one road with an opening, a closing and an opening in the same few weeks.
Think of a retail road as a bullpen. Arms come in, arms go out, and one reliever leaving does not decide the game. The useful question is whether the road keeps a steady flow of tenants over a full season, and a six-week window cannot answer that.
Which Spring restaurant is closing, and when?
Community Impact reported on October 12, 2026 that Slice of Venice, a locally owned pizzeria at 5275 Louetta Road, closes October 18. Per the business's Facebook post cited in that article, scratch-made pasta ends October 15, and pizzas and salads end October 18. The article put its time in business at nearly two years and did not state a reason.
I will be straight with you: closings belong in a post like this. A list with only ribbon cuttings is a brochure, and you deserve the whole roster.
What else is happening at Spring tables this fall?
Community Impact reported on October 5, 2026 that Mi Rancho Mexican Grill & Bar is marking one year in Spring, with a celebration planned for November 14 that includes face painting, kids' activities and a mariachi performance. The article also says the kitchen makes its salsas and tortillas in-house and that the restaurant is launching its own tequila brand.
Here is a line I am coining, so tell me if it sticks: a ribbon cutting is a press release, and a first anniversary is a track record. Both are worth knowing, and they are not the same thing.
Why do openings matter if you are choosing a Spring address?
They show you what exists, and when, within a short drive of an address. They do not predict a price, and nothing here is a promise that any home near these restaurants will gain or hold value. At the end of the day, a coffee shop is a coffee shop.
What I do with this list is practical. If you are touring in Spring, you can see which addresses sit near Louetta Road, TC Jester or Tomball Parkway, then confirm the school district boundary for any specific home, because a Spring mailing address can fall in more than one district. For the buying steps, my home buyer guide walks through them, and the monthly market updates cover the numbers.
Frequently asked questions
Are these Spring restaurants open today?
Each detail above is dated to the Community Impact article that reported it, and hours and menus change. Soft-opening menus in particular are still settling, so check the restaurant's own website or Facebook page before you drive over.
Is this a ranking of the best restaurants in Spring?
No. It lists what Community Impact reported as newly opened, closing or celebrating an anniversary, with dates. I have not rated or compared any of them.
Does a new restaurant change what a nearby home is worth?
I cannot promise that. Pricing a specific home takes recent comparable sales and a walk through the property, and I am happy to give you that opinion directly. A lender or appraiser handles financing and formal valuations, since Metro is a brokerage and not either of those.
Where can I search homes in Spring?
Start with my property search, then call me and we will narrow it by street and boundary.
