What new restaurants in Humble TX have opened?
The one I can document is Culver's. Community Impact reported on Oct. 14, 2026 that it opened Sept. 28 on Woodland Hills Drive in Humble, with butter burgers, cheese curds and frozen custard on the menu.
Community Impact also reported on Oct. 2, 2026 that Gomez Western Wear opened Sept. 27 at 20210 Hwy. 59 N. in Humble. That is a store, not a restaurant, but it tells you the Highway 59 stretch is still filling in.
I am not ranking anything here, and I am not telling you what tastes good. I am telling you what exists, where, and when a named outlet said so.
What things to do are coming to Highway 59 in Humble?
Two big indoor venues are in play, and both sit on the Highway 59 corridor near Deerbrook.
Slick City Action Park
Community Impact's Oct. 2, 2026 roundup said the roughly 40,000-square-foot park at 20424 Hwy. 59 would open in October, with 13 slides up to 20 feet tall, three air courts, a trapeze, a soft play area and a net course. A Hoodline report dated May 29, 2026 said no opening date had been announced and cited a May 1 state filing showing build-out finishing by Dec. 4.
Score Entertainment
Per the same Oct. 2, 2026 Community Impact roundup, Score Entertainment is going into the former Sears space at Deerbrook Mall, 20131 Hwy. 59. The list includes laser tag, go-karts, bowling, ax throwing, a trampoline park, mini golf and arcade games, plus a restaurant serving Rudy's Barbecue and two full-service bars. A WhatNow Houston report first published May 8, 2025 described a facility of about 150,000 square feet. I did not find confirmation that it has opened.
How do I tell an announced opening from a real one?
Think of an opening date like a Little League schedule in a wet October. The game is on the calendar, the field is real, and then the grounds crew says the infield is soup. A printed date is a plan, not a first pitch.
Here is why dates slip. A venue like Slick City files its renovation with the state before construction, and that filing gives a build-out window. Inspections, deliveries and hiring all have to line up inside that window. If one piece runs late, the whole date moves.
So I use three tests. First, did a named outlet report it as open, with a date? Second, is there a state filing or an official page that matches? Third, did someone call the front desk this week? If you only have the first test, treat it as coming soon.
What is opening nearby in Kingwood and Atascocita?
Humble sits next to both. Community Impact reported on Oct. 7, 2026 that Table 7 Prime Steakhouse is projecting a January opening at Kings Harbor, 1660 W. Lake Houston Parkway, Ste. 105, in Kingwood, according to the restaurant's website. The article did not state the year, so confirm it with the restaurant.
In Atascocita, Community Impact's Oct. 2, 2026 roundup listed La Lihn, a boutique, opening Oct. 10 at 18321 W. Lake Houston Parkway, Ste. 140. Again, retail rather than food, but it belongs on the same map.
Why do openings matter if I am buying or selling?
They matter for convenience, not for a price tag. If you are buying, a new restaurant or venue changes what is a short drive from a given address, and that is worth knowing before you tour. My home buyer guide walks through how I look at an address beyond the listing photos.
If you are selling, I would not market a nearby opening as a promise of anything. Buyers see through that, and so do appraisers. What I can do is describe what is within a short drive, accurately and with dates.
At the end of the day, a restaurant is a neighbor, not an appraisal. For the numbers side, my monthly market updates show what homes actually sold for, and you can browse current homes through my property search.

When does Slick City Action Park open in Humble?
I could not find a confirmed date. Community Impact's Oct. 2, 2026 roundup listed an October opening at 20424 Hwy. 59, while a Hoodline report dated May 29, 2026 said no date had been announced and cited a state filing with build-out finishing by Dec. 4. Call before you go.

Community Impact reported on Oct. 2, 2026 that the venue planned a restaurant serving Rudy's Barbecue plus two full-service bars, in the former Sears space at Deerbrook Mall. Confirm the opening status with the venue.
Does a new restaurant change what my Humble home is worth?
I can't promise that. Pricing comes from comparable sales and condition, not from a ribbon cutting. If you want a real number, ask me for a written comparison and talk to a licensed appraiser for a formal value opinion.
